ICAR-CIFRI observed Vigilance Awareness Week from 26 October to 2 November 2026, focusing on the theme “Probity for Prosperity.” As part of the observance, a drawing competition was organised among ICAR-CIFRI staff on 28 October 2026 to raise awareness about the impact of corruption on society and encourage vigilance and reporting of corrupt practices. The Director of ICAR-CIFRI, Dr. Pradip Dey, encouraged all members of the ICAR-CIFRI family to participate in the event. Participants enthusiastically took part in the competition, showcasing their creativity and commitment to the theme.

The competition provided a platform for artistic expression and encouraged meaningful discussions on the collective responsibility of individuals and organisations in promoting integrity, accountability, and transparency. The participants expressed their views through creative artworks highlighting the adverse consequences of corruption and the importance of vigilance in building a fair and accountable society. The event was coordinated by Dr. Dhruba Jyoti Sarkar, Dr. Pritijyoti Majhi, and Mr. Nidhish Kumar, whose efforts contributed to its successful organisation. We appreciate all the participants for their valuable contributions and for upholding the spirit of integrity during this important week.
