ICAR-CIFRI marked the second day of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 with a vibrant human chain formation and walkathon on 28th October, reinforcing the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility”.

Led by Dr. D.K. Meena, Senior Scientist and Vigilance Officer, staff members joined hands, displaying banners and placards across the campus to advocate integrity and the fight against corruption. At Dr. Meena’s request, Dr. B.K. Das, Director, guided the human chain and walkathon, highlighting the Institute’s commitment to honesty and ethical conduct in daily professional duties. The event involved enthusiastic participation from regular staff, contractual employees, and research scholars. To bolster awareness, the campus was decorated with impactful visual messages that highlighted the crucial role of individuals and organizations in upholding vigilance, promoting transparency, and combating corruption.

These activities showcase ICAR-CIFRI’s dedication to responsible behavior and vigilance within both research and administrative domains. The formation of the human chain and walkathon stands as a powerful reminder of the Institute’s ongoing pledge to national development through ethical standards and transparent practices.
