CIFRI Awards

The ICAR-Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute (ICAR-CIFRI) conducted a Quiz Competition on 30th October 2025, in conjunction with the observation of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 at its headquarters. The quiz was created to enhance awareness of various vigilance methods that contribute to effective governance.
The quiz witnessed enormous enthusiasm and wide participation from the staff of ICAR-CIFRI. A total of 24 employees from various departments, including scientists, technical and administrative personnel, research scholars, and contractual staff, actively participated in the event. The quiz competition had eight teams, each consisting of three members, with questions pertaining to diverse topics including Vigilance Awareness,
Anti-corruption and Enforcement Mechanisms in India, Indian Films on Anti-Corruption Movements, and Current Affairs. The quiz provided a convenient and encouraging avenue for participants to evaluate their knowledge of vigilance-related topics and improve their awareness of relevant national and international issues while fostering a culture of integrity and fairness within the system. The event also enhanced the CIFRI staff's understanding of ethical governance through interesting vigilance quiz questions and answers.
